Hi everyone,

This is Briar Gemmell. I play for the Preds on the 14U team and I was wondering if I could get your help. 

You might remember that I ran a fundraiser as my passion project when I was in grade 6. It was a movie night and I was able to raise $5500 for the Children's Foundation Food and Friends program.  I am organizing a SEQUEL next month in Elora but this time it will be much bigger. I have food trucks, games, face painting and raffle prizes. I am hoping it will be more like a festival and I am really looking forward to it!

Did you know that Food & Friends served 6,580 students and 766,267 meals during in-school learning in our community (Wellington) from September 2022 - March 2023? Many youth in my community go to school hungry and Food & Friends helps to bring healthy food to hungry minds. A healthy Food & Friends provided meal can cost up to $2.50!
