Volleyball Canada has announced the roster for the 2022 U19 Girls Pan American Cup, taking place July 18-23 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

There are six NORCECA countries participating in the event, Canada, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the United States. These six countries are battling for three berths in the 2023 FIVB Girls U19 World Championship. Brazil and Peru are the other two countries in the tournament.

“We’re very excited to be bringing this young group to the Pan American Cup,” head coach Christine Biggs told NORCECA. “For many, it is their first international experience. With three NORCECA berths on the line for World Championships, this tournament is very important.

“We’re excited about the progress we’ve made leading into the event. We’re excited to see the team grow and compete in this environment.”

Canada is in Group B with Peru, the United States, and Mexico and will face off against each in the preliminary round. The Quarterfinals kick off on July 21, followed by the Semis on July 22 and the Finals on July 23.
