14U Girls Win Silver at Hawkins

The Girls U14 Predators had a fantastic tournament at the Agriplex in Stratford and were rewarded with a Silver Medal at the Hawkin’s Cup tournament.  The Predators defeated West Elgin Warriors and Twin Bridges Thunder 2-0 in round robin play to finish first in their pool.  Their Quarter-final match was against South County Bandits Black, a team they split with at their very first tournament in Windsor.  The Predators handily defeated South County 2-0 and went on to play the number one seeded Stratford Stingers Gold in the semi-finals.  At the last tournament, the Stingers won a close 3 set semi-final against the Predators, but the result this time would be different.  After dropping the first set, the Predators regrouped and persevered to win the next two sets and earn a trip to their first final of the season.  Their opponents would be the Forest City Blue team from London.  The Predators ended with a Silver Medal finish after another close 3 set match.

Our record after 5 tournaments and 25 matches; 17 wins, 7 losses and 1 tie. 

Our placing has been 5th, 5th, 3rd, 4th  and 2nd .  Next tournament is March 27th
